Steven Lee Myers
American Investigative Journalist Specializing in Russian Affairs and International Security
Since 1989, Steven Lee Myers has worked at the New York Times. During that time, he spent more than seven years working as a foreign correspondent in Russia and has reported on the second Chechen War, the Ukrainian Revolution, the Sochi Winter Olympics, and the annexation of Crimea. Before this, he worked as a journalist in New York, Washington D.C., and in Baghdad during the Iraq War. He specializes in foreign and security issues.
He recently wrote his first book, “The New Tsar: The Rise and Reign of Vladimir Putin.”
