Czech Coffee Shop Entrepreneur and Installation Artist
Ondřej Kobza is well-known as the owner of many coffee shops in Prague. His passion for the public sphere has also led him to create many public installation art pieces. His famous installation of pianos on the street and “poesiomat” or poetry machines bring liveliness and music to public spaces. His hope is that these “jukeboxes for poetry” will make public spaces more creative and inspiring. Other public installations include “veršomats” (verse machines) and public chess tables.
