Scholar of African Theater and the Feldenkrais Method
Originally from Nigeria, Kene Igweonu now works as a professor at Canterbury Christ Church University. He received his doctorate in drama and theater from Royal Holloway, University of London. In his scholarly work, he focuses on black British theater and performance in Africa. He has also studied the Feldenkrais method, which is a somatic educational system designed to improve health, movement, and body awareness both in theater and in life.
