Czech Author, Researcher and Lecturer in Biology and Zoology
Jan Zrzavý is a biologist and zoologist working the Entomological Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences and lecturing at the University of South Bohemia Department of Science. He is interested in the morphology and the evolution of species, lecturing on evolutionary botany and zoology. Zrzavý also writes about humans, but he looks at humanity through the eyes of a zoologist. He also contributes to various magazines including the scientific publication, Vesmír, and the intellectual magazine, Respekt. He wrote and co-wrote books such as How Evolution is Made?, Why Are Humans Killing Each Other?, and The Phylogenesis of the Animal Kingdom.
