Globally Renowned Street Artist and Muralist based in Baltimore, Maryland
Gaia’s name means “earth goddess” and much of his work reflects his respect for the planet in the wake of dangerous global warming. Growing up in New York City, he had a fascination for bringing natural imagery to urban environments by creating murals on buildings of otherworldly animals. Gaia went to study at Maryland Institute College of Art where his career took off. His studio work, installations and gallery projects have been exhibited throughout the world, most notably at the Baltimore Museum of Art, Rice Gallery and Palazzo Collicola Arti Visive. His street work has been documented and featured in several books on urban art, including, most recently, Beyond the Street: The 100 Leading Figures in Urban Art. He was just listed in the Forbes „30 Under 30“ list in Art and Style.
