Czech Neurophysiologist and Popular Science Writer
With more than 400 publications under his belt, František Vyskočil is regarded as one of the most influential Czech scientists in studies of neurophysiology. His articles are cited all around the world. Apart from his long-time participation in the Physiology Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, he is a member of numerous scientific commissions and juries. When he is not discovering new neuron structures in the human brain, Vyskočil is devoted to the popularization of science. He is the author of many popular science articles and also a frequent media commentator on scientific topics.
