Writer Focused on Unsolved Mysteries of Tribal Culture
Graduating from the Faculty of Journalism at the Charles University in Prague, Arnošt Vašíček is most interested in mysteries. He travels to many countries, where he searches for evidence of ancient alien civilizations and other mysteries. He also studies tribal cultures, mostly untouched by our civilization. These include the Veddas of Srí Lanka, Dayaks of Borneo, the Dani people of Irian Jaya, Mentawajas of Siberout, the Dogon people of Mali, the Kubu tribe of Sumatra and the Antanosy people of Madagascar. He created two successful series for Czech television: “Mysterious Planet” and “Meeting with Mystery.“ His book, The Guardian of Souls, was also adapted as a television series.
